Great summersuits I: Agnelli’s cotton ‘solaro’ suit

Because you can never have too much of a good thing - sets of pictures of great summer suits. Most #menswear geeks will already know and love the sometimes-navy-but-more-often-beige-with-reddish-glow cotton - because it satisfies all basic requirements of self appointed fine clothing connoisseurs: [x] relatively difficult to procure [x] ‘bespoken’ snob appeal [x] vintage feel or archaic charm [x] Agnelli wore it [x] Agnelli wore it [x] dude, Agnelli wore it. milstil: Beter laat dan nooit - La Stampa’s Anniversario Avvocato One of the Italian Agnelli owned papers went through its picture archives and digged up a bunch of pictures of the biggest #menswear icon of them all. The editors erected a pictorial shrine to the most elegant man of the previous century, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his death. With the large amout of high res pics they make my feeble efforts to do something similar, look silly. Lots of high res pics, a bunch of pics I had not seen yet… and there are 4 installments that will be posted later this year. Check it out here.
